A display put up at Lincoln Memorial Plaza toppled over Friday, striking and injuring two people.

The U.S. Park Police said that the display fell over at around noon, according to WJLA-TV. Officials did not say how large the display was or what caused it to fall over and did not specify the nature or severity of the injuries to the two victims.
Local media freelance photographer Andrew Leyden posted a picture of the toppled sign on X and said a woman was injured.

People who were in the area told WUSA-TV that the display was related to a yoga event.
The event, held to commemorate the 12th annual International Day of Yoga, was put on by the Indian Embassy in the U.S. Embassy. Officials said in a release that hundreds attended but did not make any mention of displays failing over.
