The coins range in size from 1\/10th of an ounce to 5 oz.<\/p>\n<p>All but one of the coins features the image of Mr. Trump. All four of the coins feature a 250 logo.<\/p>\n<p>The coins come inside speciality protective holders. While one has the UFC 250 logo on its label, two others have labels depicting Mr. Trump and UFC boss Dana White, a campaign surrogate in all three Trump campaigns, with the president\u2019s signature in between.<\/p>\n<p>Trump Coins promotes the medals on its website as a way to celebrate America\u2019s 250th birthday and the \u201cdefining patriotic moment\u201d of Mr. Trump and UFC coming together at the White House.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis extraordinary collectible unites American history, presidential legacy and combat sports history in one landmark release,\u201d Trump Coins said in a press release announcing the medallions.<\/p>\n<p>The website said Trump Coins is partnering with the Trump Organization to offer the mementos, and it suggests the president \u201cdesigned\u201d the medallions and other coins.<\/p>\n<p>White House spokesperson Davis Ingle said there was no conflict of interest tied to the coin sales or the UFC fights.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Fake News\u2019 continued attempts to fabricate conflicts of interest are irresponsible and reinforce the public\u2019s distrust in what they read. President Trump only acts in the best interests of the American public \u2014 which is why they overwhelmingly re-elected him to this office, despite years of lies and false accusations,\u201d Mr. Ingle said. \u201cPresident Trump\u2019s assets are in a trust managed by his children. There are no conflicts of interest.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The coins went on sale days before the fights scheduled for Sunday, which is also Mr. Trump\u2019s 80th birthday.<\/p>\n<p>The fight card on the White House\u2019s South Lawn was already being criticized for being a cash grab by the president and his allies.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/homebuyerrelocation.com\/?p=1615\">Drone boat helps rescue U.S. Army helicopter crew shot down near Strait of Hormuz<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Democratic-allied watchdog group Public Integrity Project sued to stop the event, arguing that it is a money-making scheme for Mr. Trump and his friends.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf this fight is allowed to proceed, it will be only the beginning, and our national monuments will become little more than branding opportunities for the rich and well-connected. We plan to stop that,\u201d Public Integrity Project founder Brendan Ballou said.<\/p>\n<p>Sponsorship packages for the event are being sold up to $1.5 million, and the primary broadcast rights for the main card have been sold to a commercial streaming service. Financial disclosures released from last month show that in March, he purchased between $15,000 and $50,000 worth of stock in TKO, UFC\u2019s parent company.<\/p>\n<p>The UFC is selling VIP packages for between $1 million and $1.5 million per head, according to reporting cited in the lawsuit. The filing also claims that while some of the fights on that evening\u2019s card will be broadcast on cable networks, others will be exclusively broadcast on Paramount+.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Trump\u2019s financial disclosures from last month show that in March, he purchased between $15,000 and $50,000 worth of stock in TKO, UFC\u2019s parent company.<\/p>\n<p>A White House official told The Washington Times that the UFC is funding and paying for the entire event and no taxpayer dollars are being used outside of what would be applied toward employees\u2019 normal duties and responsibilities.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Information about the cost of the event can be derived from public interviews conducted by Mr. White or other UFC officials, the official added, noting that the White House has not been involved in any cost negotiations or sponsorship discussions.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Trump Coins, a website that sells medallions featuring the president\u2019s signature in likeness, uses those images through a deal with DTTM Operations LLC. That\u2019s the Trump family company that manages Mr. Trump\u2019s intellectual property such as trademarks, likeness and image rights and official merchandise.<\/p>\n<p>The website says that coins are \u201cofficially licensed\u201d and \u201cdesigned by President Trump.<\/p>\n<p>DTTM is overseen by Mr. Trump\u2019s oldest sons, Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr., who manage the licensing deals, image rights and official merchandise featuring Mr. Trump\u2019s property.
