{"id":2546,"date":"2026-06-22T15:38:57","date_gmt":"2026-06-22T15:38:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/homebuyerrelocation.com\/?p=2546"},"modified":"2026-06-22T15:38:57","modified_gmt":"2026-06-22T15:38:57","slug":"trump-vows-to-enforce-law-against-vandalizing-d-c-statues-and-fountains","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/homebuyerrelocation.com\/?p=2546","title":{"rendered":"Trump vows to enforce law against vandalizing D.C. statues and fountains"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<p>President Trump warned Monday that anyone vandalizing monuments in Washington faces a 10-year prison sentence for the destruction or attempted destruction of federal property.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/homebuyerrelocation.com\/?p=2544\">Zelenskyy returns Polish medal after Warsaw rescinds honor over renaming of Ukrainian unit<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Mr. Trump promised in a social media post that this law \u201cwill be fully enforced.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He said that of the many statues and fountains the administration rebuilt renovated, cleaned and fixed, only the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool was vandalized, which he said is \u201cbeing taken care of, ASAP!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He said it had been given a \u201c300-foot-long gash\u201d and that chemicals had been \u201cillegally\u201d placed in the pool\u2019s water.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Trump also said the new grass field around the perimeter of the pool had been destroyed with a massive \u201c86 47\u201d that was chemically carved into it.<\/p>\n<p>The number \u201c86\u201d can be used as a slang term for \u201cget rid of\u201d or \u201celiminate.\u201d Mr. Trump is the 47th president. The president blamed former FBI Director James B.
