OK, we don\u2019t want anything to do \u2014 watch them, watch them come running back, all they\u2019ll come running back,\u201d he said during a meeting with NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Trump excoriated Spain after Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez and the Madrid government refused to let the U.S. use a pair of air bases for the military campaign against Iran.\u00a0<\/p>\n<div>\n<section>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n<p>Spain also balked at NATO\u2019s target of each country spending an amount equal to 5% of its gross domestic product on defense.
