{"id":420,"date":"2026-05-24T14:36:09","date_gmt":"2026-05-24T14:36:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/homebuyerrelocation.com\/?p=420"},"modified":"2026-05-24T14:36:09","modified_gmt":"2026-05-24T14:36:09","slug":"justice-department-removes-data-on-biden-era-prosecutions-of-jan-6-rioters-from-website","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/homebuyerrelocation.com\/?p=420","title":{"rendered":"Justice Department removes data on Biden-era prosecutions of Jan. 6 rioters from website"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<p>The Department of Justice has removed information about Biden-era prosecutions of Jan. 6 rioters from its website, calling the details of criminal indictments and convictions \u201cpartisan propaganda.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/homebuyerrelocation.com\/?p=418\">Biden gave migrant \u2018parole\u2019 to Cuban pilot implicated in Raul Castro plot to kill Americans<\/a><\/p>\n<p>President Trump pardoned most people who were convicted on charges related to their participation in the storming of the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, and commuted the sentences of 14 others.<\/p>\n<p>The Justice Department is now wiping from its website the news releases that detailed those Jan. 6 cases prosecuted under the Biden administration.<\/p>\n<p>A Washington Post reporter discovered the missing news releases and posted about it on X, accusing the Trump administration of \u201cquietly deleting info about the Capitol attack from the DOJ website.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The department\u2019s rapid response account confirmed the information was being removed but said there was \u201cnothing \u2018quiet\u2019 about it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are proud to reverse the DOJ\u2019s weaponization under the Biden administration,\u201d the department posted. \u201cWe will do everything in our power to make whole those who were persecuted for political purposes. This includes stripping DOJ\u2019s website of partisan propaganda.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Information removed from the website included news releases regarding seditious conspiracy cases against members of the Proud Boys and Oath Keepers.
