{"id":4303,"date":"2026-07-16T16:39:02","date_gmt":"2026-07-16T16:39:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/homebuyerrelocation.com\/?p=4303"},"modified":"2026-07-16T16:39:02","modified_gmt":"2026-07-16T16:39:02","slug":"judge-orders-seattle-officials-to-crack-down-on-lewd-behavior-at-nude-park-used-by-lgbtq-community","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/homebuyerrelocation.com\/?p=4303","title":{"rendered":"Judge orders Seattle officials to crack down on lewd behavior at nude park used by LGBTQ+ community"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<p>A Seattle judge ordered city officials Tuesday to go further in preventing lewd and sexual activity at Denny Blaine Park, which allows for public nudity.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/homebuyerrelocation.com\/?p=4301\">Retail sales up a modest 0.2% in June amid economic uncertainty and fading benefits from tax refunds<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The ruling was prompted by a lawsuit backed by a neighborhood group that hoped to close the park, which has a topless area and a clothing-optional area.<\/p>\n<p>While that request was not granted by Judge Samuel Chung, he did mandate that Seattle officials crack down on the illegal lewd acts that first prompted the lawsuit, according to Seattle\u2019s KOMO-TV.<\/p>\n<p>Seattle officials will have to implement a code of conduct addressing overcrowding, prohibited behavior and safety, and put up buffers to shield neighboring residents from nude parkgoers, according to MyNorthwest.com.<\/p>\n<p>The suit was filed by the group Denny Blaine Park for All, which said in a statement that the court\u2019s findings affirmed its complaints about lewd behavior and that \u201cthe Denny Blaine community will be laser-focused on holding the City accountable and ensuring it follows the Court\u2019s orders,\u201d according to KOMO.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/homebuyerrelocation.com\/?p=4299\">Texas flooding surges from huge rainstorms as rescuers pull people from rising waters<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The court found that Seattle Parks and Recreation previously chose not to intervene against people engaging in lewd behavior at Denny Blaine Park.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe parks department also did not want its employees to confront the lewd parkgoer. A July 2022 internal email showed that employees had complained about seeing lewd conduct and so much nudity.
