Rick Scott, Florida Republican, responded to a post about her diagnosis, saying, \u201cIf anyone can beat this, it\u2019s her.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is terrible news, but Pam has been a dear friend for years, and I know she\u2019s a fighter,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>She has also been appointed by Mr. Trump to an advisory committee focused on AI policy: the Presidential Council of Advisors on Science and Technology.<\/p>\n<p>David Sacks, co-chair of the council, said that \u201cno one is better positioned to support PCAST and to advise the president on legal and regulatory matters than @PamBondi,\u201d adding that he is \u201cexcited to have her on board.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPresident Trump understands that unnecessary regulation is the biggest threat to innovation in America,\u201d the former White House AI adviser said. \u201cWinning the AI race means not only beating China but also clearing bureaucratic hurdles thrown up by state legislatures and woke politicians in DC.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/homebuyerrelocation.com\/?p=634\">Al Green loses to fellow Rep. Ms. Bondi will be tasked with facilitating coordination between the government and the tech executives on the panel, Axios reported.<\/p>\n<p>Vice President J.D. Vance congratulated Ms. Bondi on her appointment.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPam has been an enormously valuable asset to the president\u2019s team, and I\u2019m thrilled for her and for all of us that she\u2019s going to remain involved in confronting some of the most important issues the administration faces,\u201d he said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Trump announced the former attorney general\u2019s departure from the helm of the Justice Department last month, amid frustration with political and prosecutorial missteps at the department.
