The song “I Knew It, I Knew You” will be released Friday, and is connected to the animated film’s cowgirl character, Jessie. It is Ms. Swift’s first release of new music since last year’s “The Life of a Showgirl” album.
The “Antihero” singer said on Instagram that she has loved the franchise since she was 5 and wrote the song immediately after attending an early screening of the new film.
Before her announcement, “Toy Story” billboards had teased the release along with a countdown timer on Ms. Swift’s official website.
