His offense: Eating 10 chicken nuggets while on a roller coaster at the Cedar Point amusement park in Sandusky, Ohio
Mr. Ferrell uploaded a video on May 19 showing him trying to eat McDonald’s Chicken McNuggets while riding the Millennium Force roller coaster at Cedar Point, which is a Six Flags property.
He managed to eat seven of the nuggets and was able to dip them in sauce while on the ride, and a photo taken of him and others on board the coaster shows him mid-bite.
Park officials were not amused. They said the nugget-eating stunt on the Millennium Force, which goes as fast as 93 mph and as high as 310 feet up over the course of two minutes, poses a risk of choking.

“Our ride safety policy strictly prohibits all loose articles on rides, including food which can become a choking hazard. … Guests must follow all written and verbal instructions for safe riding. Guests who violate our Code of Conduct are not welcome in our parks, and this guest has been banned from all Six Flags parks for life,” spokesperson Tony Clark told Entertainment Weekly.
Mr. Ferrell told WJW-TV that “this would be the first time one of my challenges has gotten me banned indefinitely.”
Still, he said he understands where the park management is coming from.
“They just don’t want other people getting hurt on the ride. But me personally, it was a really fun challenge,” he said.
